Quani Charging Function (CHF)
Quani Charging Function (CHF)
In today’s telecom environment, operators need flexible, real-time monetization to fully leverage 5G services. Quani’s Charging Function (CHF), part of our Converged Charging System (CCS), provides online, offline, and convergent billing across voice, data, IoT, and network slicing, empowering operators to monetize diverse services while ensuring seamless customer experiences.
What is CHF?
CHF is the core billing engine for 5G networks, built on Service-Based Architecture (SBA). It integrates:
- Charging Data Function (CDF): Collects usage data and generates Charging Data Records (CDRs).
- Charging Gateway Function (CGF): Processes CDRs and delivers billing files to the BSS/BOSS.
This architecture enables real-time charging, routing, and forwarding of usage events for all 5G services, including Industry 4.0 applications, IoT/M2M, and advanced network services.
